Alkali Scientific Transport Tubes with Temperature Indicator, 500/Cs, 10mL Tubes
Our self standing transport tubes — often referred to as mailing tubes or transport vials—are made of virgin polypropylene and are supplied with 1¼ turn screw caps attached. These tubes are certified to be leak proof and 95kPa compliant and are now available with FreezeTech™ Temperature Indicator. With FreezeTech™, each tube features a temperature indicator patch that starts turning blue at 4°C and becomes dark blue when the tube (and its contents) reach 0°C. The indicator patch returns to its original transparent grey color as the sample temperature approaches 4°C and above. These single-use media bottles with tubing and vent filters are perfect for fluid transfer and storage. Each polypropylene (PP) cap assembly features a platinum-cured silicone gasket for a leakproof system without any machining residue or bonding agents. Hose barb plug on tubing keeps line closed until ready for use. Use the pinch clamp to help control flow into the container or to close off the line. A 0.2 m hydrophobic PTFE filter allows for ventilation while preventing media from escaping in the event of a spill. Rigid dip tube with notch provides easy filling and extraction of media.
